Karina + Kenny's Moody Bohemian Wedding at The Meyerson

Karina and Kenny’s wedding was held at the Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas and had the perfect elegant and bohemian yet moody feel curated by Rachel Willis Events, from a classic, simple design for the seating chart to ornate, patterned linens. We brought the flowers to match, in shades of ivory, taupe and berry tones, with pops of peach.

The ceremony was held in front of the Eugene McDermott Concert Hall and had two lamp posts at the altar, which were accented with floral clusters at their bases, and greenery trailing up the posts. The other floral touch for the ceremony were organic-style ground arrangements down the aisle.

The seating chart was another opportunity for floral accents — we designed arrangements with pops of color and texture that sat in planter boxes, and greenery lining the bottom.

Guests sat at a mix of rectangular, square and round tables at the reception — we designed low compote arrangements and lush tall versions on gold stands. The low centerpieces had selenite crystals tucked in for a unique touch. A few elements gave the guest tables more visual interest — a variety of linens, best heads with flowers, sheet moss, and cloches with more blooms. For even more color and height variation, pillar, taper and votive candles in colored and antique brass holders.

The bridesmaids’ bouquets were designed in a loose, organic style with a different accent color — either peach, berry or white — for each, and Karina’s had a mix of everything. These added to the bohemian style with mismatched dresses in the same color palette.
