Alan + Grace's Springtime Wedding at The Emerson

Alan and Grace got married at The Emerson in the spring, and wanted a soft palette and whimsical details to match. Jing Jing of Silent Tea Events was a huge part of not just helping our team bring the design inspiration to life but navigating unexpected rainy weather!

We got to transform The Emerson’s all-white ceremony space with a mix of warm- and cool-toned flowers and foliage - we designed a textural meadow-inspired installation for the altar, dense with grasses and plants and accented with Allium and Chamomile. At the start of the aisle, we designed two floral clusters to frame the entrance, and two hanging baby’s breath arrangements in the rafters.

Baby’s breath also helped accent the outdoor cocktail hour, in the form of a garland strung with disco balls along the venue’s string lights. The seating chart brought in another pop of lavender and yellow, and made for the perfect photo op with a bell labeled “ring for Sangria” and a faux window box decorated with flowers.

The reception also featured a hanging installation, anchored by oversized baskets with greenery and floral textures hanging down across two long guest tables and framing the sweetheart table. For the newlyweds, we designed a lush floral runner and ground arrangements from the ceremony to bring in the same garden style. The guest tables had patterned linens and floral-printed taper candles for more springtime touches.

Grace’s bouquet was designed in an organic style with spring blooms like Ranunculus and Sweet Pea - and the bridesmaids’ were carried in little woven baskets for the perfect accessory with their light purple gowns!
