Alan + Grace's Springtime Wedding at The Emerson

Alan and Grace got married at The Emerson in the spring, and wanted a soft palette and whimsical details to match. Jing Jing of Silent Tea Events was a huge part of not just helping our team bring the design inspiration to life but navigating unexpected rainy weather!

We got to transform The Emerson’s all-white ceremony space with a mix of warm- and cool-toned flowers and foliage - we designed a textural meadow-inspired installation for the altar, dense with grasses and plants and accented with Allium and Chamomile. At the start of the aisle, we designed two floral clusters to frame the entrance, and two hanging baby’s breath arrangements in the rafters.

Baby’s breath also helped accent the outdoor cocktail hour, in the form of a garland strung with disco balls along the venue’s string lights. The seating chart brought in another pop of lavender and yellow, and made for the perfect photo op with a bell labeled “ring for Sangria” and a faux window box decorated with flowers.

The reception also featured a hanging installation, anchored by oversized baskets with greenery and floral textures hanging down across two long guest tables and framing the sweetheart table. For the newlyweds, we designed a lush floral runner and ground arrangements from the ceremony to bring in the same garden style. The guest tables had patterned linens and floral-printed taper candles for more springtime touches.

Grace’s bouquet was designed in an organic style with spring blooms like Ranunculus and Sweet Pea - and the bridesmaids’ were carried in little woven baskets for the perfect accessory with their light purple gowns!

Bridal Bouquet Ingredients: Kiera Garden Roses, Quicksand Roses, Amnesia Roses, lavender Clematis, Chamomile, Blush Ranunculus, yellow Butterfly Ranunculus, Orlaya, lavender Sweet Pea, yellow Lisianthus

Mollie + Keller's Sunset-Inspired March Wedding

Mollie and Keller got married in March at Rest Yourself Ranch outside of Fort Worth and we worked with Erin of Clover Events to set the stage for a sunset-inspired wedding filled with a mix of vibrant and pastel tones, terracotta and rustic accents. The floral color palette was anchored by neutrals but featured rust, orange, terracotta and deep red tones. Touches of blue in other decor were the perfect counterbalance to the warm shades.

For the outdoor ceremony, we designed organic-style ground arrangements to line the aisle and added plants in between. Up at the altar, more ground arrangements of tall-stem pampas grass sat at the base of a wooden cross for a natural, rustic-feeling touch. The ceremony had wooden log seating to match!

The reception was also held outside, and repurposed the ceremony ground arrangements to create a focal point with a display around the cake table. Guest tables were styled with a mix of warm orange tones and blue linens, and we designed low, lush compote arrangements in terracotta vases to pair with cacti and amber votive candles for the centerpieces.

Cocktail tables were another opportunity for a floral touch, and we designed mini arrangements held in terracotta cantarita vases to pair with petite cacti for cute trios.

The bouquets were hand-tied with a variety of blooms and textures to match the color palette and rustic, winter-into-spring sunset inspiration, and perfectly complimented the rust-tones bridesmaids dresses.

Bridal Bouquet Ingredients: Toffee Roses, Quicksand Roses, Caramel Tulips, red Ranunculus, white Butterfly Ranunculus, orange Butterfly Ranunculus, Bohemian Mocha Lisianthus, orange Wax Flower, Dried Bougionvilla, white Limonium

Love to Our Planners Event at D'Vine Grace Vineyards

This February, D’Vine Grace Vineyard’s Valentine-inspired planner appreciation lunch was a welcome occasion to celebrate the dedication, hard work and vision of so many of the planners who make our work that much better! We loved designing the flowers for this sweet event, all in a palette of pink and red.

Guests got to enjoy a coffee bar and espresso martinis, wine pairings with lunch and a photo area - the tables were a focal point of the room, with deep red decor like the pillar candles and place settings, all on top of pink and red linens. We designed low centerpieces meant to look lush and tie in all the red tones.

We also designed ground arrangements to accent the seating chart - a fun statement display that held seating assignments on heart-shaped cards. These arrangements were clustered on one side, and countered by a red balloon installation on the other. More red and pink pillar candles scattered in front added another dimension.

The espresso martini table was tiered, and we added a couple petite floral clusters on top and trailing down one side for another floral touch. Bud vases and more pillar candles made up the final touches throughout the space.

We were so happy to be part of this thank-you event for the professionals that orchestrate every detail of our clients’ big days - it was so special for them to get to enjoy an event like those they’re normally behind the curtain for!

Andy + Alex's End-of-Year Holiday-Inspired Wedding

Andy and Alex got married in December at La Bella Luna in Granbury, Texas, and opted to lean into the Christmas season for their decor, flowers and color palette. We worked with Gathered Events to curate the perfect look that brought the holiday magic while still having a timeless feel that this couple would love looking back on.

The ceremony was held outside with the venue’s archway structure as a backdrop, and we designed an asymmetrical floral installation on all sides, with a base of organic greenery and flowers in shades of red throughout. Ground arrangements also lined the aisle and made it all feel more lush.

Transitioning through cocktail hour, seating assignments were displayed on a variety of ornaments hung on a tree-muraled wall. For the reception we designed a large statement installation on the stage, made up of floral pillars growing up from the ground, to various heights. This was the focal point of the room and the backdrop for the cake and sweetheart tables. The newlyweds’ table was also framed with ground arrangements in front, and decorated with lots of pillar candles.

The guest tables were all rectangular and were decorated with a mix of compote arrangements, candle runners down the center, or eclectic collections of all-greenery mini compotes paired with red and white arrangements in glass vases. Ground arrangements sat at the ends of these tables for some more drama.

The bridal party’s bouquets were made up of mostly ivory blooms and a couple touches of bright red – the bridesmaids wore velvet blush-colored gowns for another pop.

Bridal Bouquet Ingredients: White Cloud Garden Roses, Snowy Jewel Roses, Quicksand Roses, White Majolica Spray Roses, Red Ranunculus, Red Anemone, White Lisianthus, Bohemian Mocha Lisianthus, Huckleberry

Caitlin + Samuel's Romantic December Wedding at The Hillside Estate

The Hillside Estate is a venue for all seasons, and our couple Caitlin and Samuel got married in December with a wintry, moody style brought to life through mostly neutral blooms with pops of peach and deeper mauve and plum tones. We worked with the Gathered Events team to bring all the design details together with THE as a perfect backdrop for this couple’s ceremony and reception.

A ground arrangement display at the altar made a statement for the ceremony – a collection at various heights created a natural-feeling backdrop for the couple. We designed color-blocked arrangements that were placed down the aisle for more lush touches without being overpowering. Simple pillar candles also helped embellish the aisle.

Leading into the reception, the seating chart was another opportunity for flowers, and we designed ground arrangements with branches to frame the signs. After the ceremony, the ground arrangements were moved to the ballroom to create a dramatic floral meadow circling the cake table. This mimicked the design of the cake itself, which had a flowered ring at its base.

We designed and styled a lush, garden-style garland for the head table and made sure that it had plenty of height and movement – and accessorized with ribbed pillar candle holders and taupe taper candles in wooden stands. This reception had both banquet and round-table seating for guests, and we designed a tablescape for each – large urn arrangements and black bud vases (another moody touch) with candles.

The bridal party’s bouquets were done in an organic style with an emphasis on textures and movement. The color scheme of ivory, mauve, and purples made these romantic and unique!

Bridal Bouquet Ingredients: White Cloud Garden Roses, Playa Blanca Roses, White Majolica Spray Roses, Mauve Hellebore, Bohemian Mocha Lisianthus, Brownie Tulips, Chocolate Cosmos, Cappuccino Ranunculus, White Nerine, Nandina
