Lauren + Trevor's Classic Falltime Wedding at The Hillside Estate

We always love working with the Gathered Events team to transform The Hillside Estate spaces, and a clean, classic green and neutral palette always looks stunning with the venue’s French-inspired architecture and decor. This is exactly what Lauren and Trevor landed on for their fall wedding.

We decked the venue out with greenery starting at the entry space — a classic compote arrangement on the front table for a simple pop, greenery accepting the banisters and ground pieces framing the welcome sign. Just a few touches like these can add so much to that first impression!

For the ceremony, we designed a large square archway, full with lots of greenery and bright ivory and white blooms. The scale and shape were perfect in front of the space’s windows. Down the aisle, sage green pillar candles added an understated accent and really let the arch at the altar make its statement.

Just before the reception, guests spent cocktail hour out on the patio, where we added a lush floral-and-greenery installation to the fireplace mantle. Inside for the reception, we designed large urn arrangements for the guest tables, which were surrounded by a mix of candles and white bud vases for a balance of lush drama and more delicate accents.

The head table had a floral garland trailing down its center, and was framed by the same arch from the ceremony — such a great focal point for the reception that played up the lush feel even more.

Lauren’s bouquet was designed in an organic style with all-white flowers, including dripping Orchids and touches of greenery. Her bridesmaids’ bouquets featured more white blooms like Ball Dahlias, Roses and Frill Tulips.

Bridal Bouquet Ingredients: white Orchids, white Cloud Garden Roses, white Ball Dahlias, Snowy Jewel Roses, Playa Blanca Roses, white Lisianthus, white Ranunculus, white Tweedia, white Sweet Pea, white Frill Tulips, Green Hellebore, Huckleberry

Lindsey + Mauricio's Lush Early-Summer Wedding at Knotting Hill Place

Lindsey and Mauricio planned an early summer wedding at Knotting Hill Place with the help of Lauryn E Weddings, who we loved collaborating with. White and shades of green guided the palette and style of their ceremony and reception. We designed fresh, lush floral arrangements to complement the light, bright and classic-feeling decor.

Lush and airy flowers made sense for the ceremony space since the venue has large windows and so much natural light. Guests sat in clear acrylic chairs that continued the subtle and simple style. We designed a large floral spray for a wooden arch that sat at the altar on a white pedestal that was also embellished with an arrangement, so the two of them almost met in the middle. These couple simple floral touches left this space feeling so full and lush.

For the reception, we designed a greenery garland to line the head table and then spill onto the ground on either end. The bridesmaids’ bouquets were repurposed here too for an extra pop. A mix of candles - pillar and white taper candles in antique brass holders added some texture and personality. The guest tables held a mix of compote arrangements and more candles.

The cake table was another focal point - with the venue’s staircase as a backdrop, which we lined with lush greenery. For the table itself, we designed ground floral arrangements to surround the perimeter.

Lindsey’s bridal party wore mismatched green shades and fabrics, which looked stunning with her full lace-and-floral-applique gown. The bouquets were mostly white with subtle touches of greenery, but really popped against the green dresses.

Bridal Bouquet Ingredients: white Cloud Garden Roses, white Orchids, Playa Blanca Roses, white Lisianthus, white Ranunculus, white Tweedia, white Sweet Pea, white Frill Tulips, white Asclepia

Sabine + Raymond's Dreamy Texas Destination Wedding

Sabine and Raymond decided to pack up and make the trip from Miami, Florida to Texas to hold their wedding at The Hillside Estate with the help of B Astonished Events. This venue was perfect for their vision of a dreamy, romantic day complete with a warm, muted color palette that we carried into the flowers — in an organic, textural style.

For the ceremony, we designed urn arrangements to frame the space at the start of the aisle and ground arrangements lining it to lead to the altar with a floral arch. All three of these floral moments created a true “wow” factor in this space and felt so lush.

The reception was held outside in the venue’s courtyard space, with long rectangle tables down the center — decorated with low compote arrangements in white-footed vases and taupe taper candles. We repurposed the aisle arrangements from the reception to frame these long tables at each end.

Round tables dotted the perimeter of the patio, and we repurposed the elevated arrangements from the ceremony as centerpieces for these, which made for great anchors throughout the space along with adding some height.

Sabine’s bridal bouquet was full of organic texture and movement with blooms in a blend of neutral tones — bright and clean with a touch of warmth. Her bridesmaids wore taupe gowns that complimented the fresh and subtle style.

Bridal Bouquet Ingredients: white Cloud Garden Roses, Playa Blanca Roses, Quicksand Roses, white Ball Dahlia, white Majolica Spray Roses, Caramel Tulips, white Ranunculus, Bohemian Mocha Lisianthus, white Sweet Pea, bleached Ferns

Kirsten + Josh's Spring-Inspired Fall Wedding at The French Farmhouse

Kirsten and Josh wanted a springtime-inspired wedding in September, and our team worked with Shannon Rose Events to design a color palette that mixed pastel tones with some autumnal depth – including lavender, mauve, yellow, orange and burgundy. The floral color palette, pops of color and pattern in the reception space, and the perfect amount of warm, wood touches made this event at The French Farmhouse feel spring even in the fall time.

The ceremony space was floral-filled - with a collection of organic-style ground arrangements down the aisle with lots of greenery and pops of blooms like Delphinium, Snapdragons and Roses, and four tall arrangements at the altar. These sat on velvet-draped pedestals for  elevation with candles surrounding them for a subtle pop of pink.

Several floral statements transformed the ballroom for the reception, starting with repurposed tall arrangements for the head table - this time on minimal gold stands - mixed with colored pillar candles and small bud vases styled down its center. The place settings incorporated shades of blue and more touches of gold in the flatware. Other guest tables were decorated with compote and bud arrangements, with a balance of the burgundy, yellow and pink shades.

The same mix was carried throughout the venue with arrangements to frame the cake and mantle. Touches like the patterned linen on the cake table tied all the colors together and brought an eclectic feel.

Kirsten’s bridal bouquet featured brights primarily - pinks, purples and yellow, with a subtle touch of burgundy and greenery. In mismatched shades of blue, bridesmaids tied together the spring-fall style.

Bridal Bouquet Ingredients: Kiera Garden Roses, Quicksand Roses, Cappuccino Roses, lavender Clematis, yellow Butterfly Ranunculus, blush Lisianthus, burgundy Ranunculus, Jasmine Vine

Planner Gratitude Dinner at The Cliff House

Every once in a while, we have to put on an event of our own! To celebrate 10 years of Wedfully Yours, we hosted a thank-you dinner for the wonderful planners we’ve worked with over the years and who trust us to bring their clients’ floral visions to life. Since it was in September, we pulled in design inspiration from the summer-to-fall transition and also leaned into a golden-hour color palette for a garden party feel.

Held at The Cliff House in Dallas, with one big space to work with, where we packed in a few distinct areas, with a long table in the center, and a fountain installation behind it up on a stage. Towards the entrance we decorated the bar setup with a floral arrangement and candles, and did the same for the table with the Nikki Smith permanent jewelry setup - a fun (long-lasting) party favor for guests!

We achieved an intimate dinner party feel with a mix of organic compote arrangements down the center of the table - with sprawling blooms and kangaroo paw for lots of texture and movement - and gold-toned candles for the warm, summer-fall style. Other touches like printed chargers, plates and gold flatware added some more layers and color to the place settings.

The onstage install was heavy on plants, flowers and grassy textures - a cool contrast with the stone fountain itself. Textural floral arrangements at the base of each beam throughout the room really helped complete the space’s full transformation and brought it more brightness and color - and levels with vines climbing up the beams.

With the added celebration of 10 years spent serving Texas couples, connecting with so many of the vendors we work most closely with was such a joy, and we loved bringing this late-summer textural vision to life for a fun night of eating, drinking and chatting!
