Kelly + John's Valentine's Day Affair

There’s a special place in our hearts for Valentine’s weddings, especially when they feature a tasteful take on all the pink tones! Kelly and John’s wedding at BRIK venue was full of beautiful, feminine touches and great floral textures. We collaborated with Shannon Rose Events on this wedding, and always love all of the design inspiration she brings to the table!

This wedding’s pink color palette had lots of unique tones and depth, with touches of brown and orange as a nod to Kelly and John’s alma maters UT Austin and Auburn University. We loved designing several different yet complementary floral elements that decorated everything from the seating chart to the aisle, alter, and head table.

The ceremony aisle was accessorized with ground arrangements full of greenery and different rose varieties. At the altar, we placed two tall arrangements on elegant gold stands to frame the couple and the bridal party. BRIK’s simple ceremony space was such a great canvas for these ceremony flowers and the colors paired so well with the rich brown wood flooring and seating.

In the reception space, guests were welcomed with a beautiful custom seating chart made of metal tiles and adorned with greenery. We decorated the guest tables with low arrangements in simple bowls, surrounded by blush taper candles. This mix of elements made for an organic yet modern look.

The head table was the statement of the reception room, topped with four large elevated arrangements of greenery and blooms. These brought the eyes up, and we created intimacy beneath them with a collection of pillar and taper candles down the length of the table, along with some smaller arrangements.

Kelly’s bouquet was such a beautiful and unique collection of blush, ivory, and orange tones, with sparing touches of green. Mimicking the bridal bouquet, the bridesmaids’ included the same soft-colored roses and dyed fern leaves. This bridal party was pretty in pink and so sophisticated!

We loved designing the flowers for this Valentine’s wedding that looked at home in the lovely BRIK venue. Now this holiday is extra special for these two!

Lauren + David's Beachside Destination Wedding

This North Texas team is going places! Today we’re looking back on a destination wedding in Key Largo, Florida, for the sweet Lauren and David! This was such a fun adventure at a beautiful destination. We provided full-service coordination and floral design for this wedding at the Marriott Key Largo Bay Resort. This wedding was full of love, romance, and celebration!

Lauren and David were an absolute joy to work with - both brought so much life to their celebration with friends and family. At an oceanfront venue, this was a beautiful beachside ceremony and reception in the sand, surrounded by romantic lighting. We took this elegant beach feel and translated it to the event flowers. We designed pieces with lots of white and grey blooms that didn’t detract from the natural beauty of the location yet completed the classy and intimate atmosphere.

We adorned the reception tables with white compotes, bud vases filled with beach rocks and statement flowers, and bundles of driftwood that Lauren and David collected on the beach together. Candles were added to the tables as well to create the perfect intimate atmosphere. This reception was simple, classy, and so well-suited for this lovely couple.

Lauren and her bridal party continued the neutral theme with ivory and grey dresses, and the bridesmaids carried bouquets of ocean-plant-inspired bleached Italian ruscus that acted as effortless accessories. The bridal bouquet was the ultimate combination of tropical, beachy blooms, from white orchids and roses to tropical leaves.

This destination wedding was one that all beach-lovers dream of! We were so thrilled to transform a new environment with flowers and couldn’t be more thrilled for Lauren and David. Wedfully Yours is always up for a new adventure, and this wedding was no exception!

Brooke + Jeffrey's Vivid and Romantic Winter Wedding

We’re reminiscing over a gorgeous winter wedding that managed to feel as bright and fresh as spring! Brooke and Jeffrey were a joy to work with and we had so much fun curating this gorgeous light blue, lavender, and pink-toned color palette along with our trusted wedding ally, Shannon of Shannon Rose Events! Held at Dove Ridge Vineyard, this ceremony and reception had all of the romantic and fun design elements we could’ve hoped for!

Brooke and Jeffrey’s ceremony was held at the venue’s outdoor ceremony site and gave us lots of opportunity to deck the space out with flowers. We designed aisle arrangements full of delphinium and greenery that made a statement in white planter boxes. At the end of the aisle, we put together a semi-circle of ground pieces overflowing with large romantic blooms. This setup was organic-looking yet overstated in the perfect way, and was made complete by gorgeous weather!

For the reception we designed an over-the-top double garland for the head table that sat in the center of the room. A lush garland lined the whole table in between the place settings, and an overhead installation held even more greenery and flowers on gold stands. This head table design created an immersive garden experience and we love the impact it made on the whole room!

Guest tables were decorated with smaller floral arrangements along with candles to mimic the head table installation. The gold accents throughout the space were the perfect accessories to the lush greenery and peach, mauve, and fuchsia blooms. The cake table was also a focal point and was surrounded by the arrangements that had been along the ceremony aisle, and the ground pieces that had decorated the altar area.

The bouquets for this bridal party were just as sweet and romantic, and paired so beautifully with the bridesmaids’ blue dresses. Brooke’s bouquet was made bright by plenty of white and ivory blooms, which made the pink and purple tones pop! With this bouquet, and a stunning lace gown, this bride looked so elegant and timeless.

Bridal bouquet ingredients: white Peonies, Juliet Garden Roses, Snowy Jewel Roses, Amnesia Roses, blush Butterfly Ranunculus, light blue Delphinium, lavender Scabiosa, purple Clematis, blue Tweedia, white Ranunculus, purple Astrantia

We adored this wedding, and love any chance we get to dream up new combinations and styles of indoor and outdoor installations. These floral designs and color palettes are some we’ll never forget!

Alli K Bloom Launch: Hand Drawn Florals Brought to Life

Weddings are our forte, so other event types tend to stand out, especially when they’re anything like an AlliKDesign book launch party! We had the honor of designing some funky floral installations for the launch of Alli K’s third book, Bloom. A talented artist and savvy businesswoman, Alli K took her flair for artful wedding calligraphy and turned it into a multi-faceted design business manifested in how-to books, commissioned murals, workshops, and business and branding mentorships. She’s the artist behind our own logo! We were so excited to capture her iconic black-and-white brand and the essence of her first-ever coloring book, Bloom, in our floral design and help her celebrate yet another new venture!

This event was held at BREDA Studio in Deep Ellum, Dallas, and was filled to the brim with photo ops galore! We were so excited to leave our own mark on this fun and unique event and put together a few floral installations throughout the venue. At the entrance we installed an ombre baby’s breath garland that went from white to silver to black and set the tone for this flower-filled party.

In the main activity room, complete with a huge “BLOOM” mural coloring page that guests could color in directly on the wall, we installed several baby’s breath clouds suspended from the ceiling. These were so unique and helped make the atmosphere truly immersive. These pieces were the perfect backdrop for guests decorating hand drawn-on cookies, dancing, and snacking. We also designed a larger installation that hung above the main seating area and overflowed with dried-flower textures and pampas grass. Smaller baby’s breath touches adorned corners of the venue and accessorized things like furniture inside and the champagne truck from Fetch Me Champagne.

We had a blast working on this event with Alli K and giving her first coloring book the launch it deserved! Since she’s known for the signature hand drawn floral style, there just had to be statement floral designs to bring this event to life! You can still purchase her book, Bloom, at Target, Barnes & Noble, on Amazon, or here on her website.

Brunchy Matrimony: Intimate Mid-day Wedding Celebrations

This week we’re spotlighting what we think is an underrated way to wed and celebrate with loved ones: over brunch! Whether you think you might prefer a more intimate and low-key reception, or you’re just a huge fan of mimosas and french toast, a brunch wedding might just be the perfect option for you! We’re looking back on two lovely couples that we provided coordination for that opted for personal and laid back wedding gatherings.

Rachel and Blake held their ceremony at FUMC Fort Worth and met their guests at Bird Cafe afterward for a brunch celebration. This sweet couple’s reception was the perfect intimate and sophisticated mid-day gathering for friends and family. We designed a garden-inspired faux garland made up of bud vases and greenery vines for the table. Complimentary of the dark wood and deep green linens in the restaurant, this simple floral design was the perfect way to elevate the setup and make it more personal.

Rachel wore a beautiful tea-length dress that served as inspiration for her taupe-and-blush-filled bouquet. This, along with her vintage-style clutch, were the perfect accessories for this lovely bride!

Bridal bouquet ingredients: Lavender Latte Roses, Cappuccino Roses, white Sweet Pea, Quicksand Roses, taupe Lisianthus, Snowberry, Nagi greenery, Huckleberry

With a similar idea in mind, Jane and Herb held an intimate commitment ceremony and reception at Sixty Vines with their closest family and friends. This was the perfect romantic and cozy venue for these newlyweds to celebrate with loved ones! We carried the essence of this greenhouse space into the table florals, incorporating warm, deep-toned blooms, and gold votive and pillar candles.

Jane’s bouquet featured gorgeous burgundy flowers contrasted with bright white roses and accented by delicate touches of greenery. We love the way it helped make a statement paired with her stunning, classic white gown.

Floral ingredients: burgundy Dahlia, white Majolika Spray Rose, burgundy Ranunculus, Nandina greenery, golden Amaranthus, Baby Blue Eucalyptus, Snowy Jewel Roses, Wax Flower

While you may feel the pressure of the conventionality surrounding certain wedding traditions, there’s only one real rule: if it feels right for you, do it! These two couples are great examples of staying true to your own personalities when it comes to your wedding plans. Focused on keeping things laid-back, they created the perfect low-key and low-stress gatherings to celebrate their marriage with, and we were so delighted to be a part of them!
