Caitlin + Kory's Blue-and-White Ballroom Wedding

Caitlin and Kory’s ballroom wedding at Knotting Hill Place was the epitome of Springtime elegance, with a bright blue and white palette and statement floral designs at every turn - from oversized tall arrangements flanking the ceremony aisle to staircase installations in both the entryway and ballroom.

To greet guests on their way in, we designed a floral installation for the entryway staircase. A few other floral touches and pops of blue in the front rooms tied in with the lush garland, which popped even more against the dark wood and black iron banisters.

The ceremony in KHP’s indoor cathedral was filled with blue and white Hydrangeas, in tall arrangements that lined the aisle and low arrangements that sat on the ground in between to create an elegant meadow of flowers all the way to the altar, where a lush floral arch sat as the focal point. Glass pedestals, vases and acrylic seating made the whole space feel airy and kept all the attention on the flowers and the wedding party!

The reception repurposed the ceremony arch for the sweetheart table, and the aisle ground arrangements to accent the stage facade. With another staircase floral installation, cherry blossom trees and plenty of flowers on all the guest tables, the reception was full of lush, romantic Springtime blooms.

The guest tables held tall statement arrangements and low compote floral centerpieces, with plenty of candlelight both down the tables and throughout the room. Floating candles were yet another elegant touch and subtle blue details on the tables were the perfect pop for the neutral space.

The bridesmaids’ bouquets were designed in a classic rounded style and Caitlin’s bridal bouquet was made to have an extra full, fluffy look, featuring a lot of the same blue and white blooms. We loved helping turn her bouquet into an ode to her dad by adding some charms in his honor.
