Samantha + Daniel's Modern "Something Blue" Wedding at The Joule Dallas
Samantha and Daniel tied the knot and celebrated their marriage at The Joule in Dallas — we worked with Gathered Events to deck out the ceremony and reception spaces with blue and neutral floral arrangements with a modern flair, from the aisle to cocktail tables and the dance floor. We loved their vision for their big day and watching everything come together!
The ceremony was held in a neutral space — white and gray drapery and flooring, and clear acrylic seating — which let the flowers make a big statement. We designed ground arrangements to line the aisle with shades of white and blue — these were intentionally fit to the height of the elevated aisle platform. At the altar, we decorated an acrylic chuppah with floral clusters on all sides. These made a big visual impact with lots of greenery and blooms like Calla Lilies.
For the reception, we leaned into the lounge-style inspiration and decorated the cocktail tables with bud vases and candles for simple and refined ambiance. For an additional floral pop in the space, we lined the banquette seating and the entry to the dance floor with large arrangements.
Like the ceremony, this ballroom and the decor made the flowers look even more striking, even though they had a fairly subtle color palette of light blue, navy and true blue. These featured some unique textures like sprayed baby’s breath and bleached fern leaves that tied in that modern feel.
Samantha’s bouquet was the epitome of elegance with one single ingredient: white Calla Lilies. A perfect match to the modern style found throughout the ceremony and reception flowers and decor.
