Elizabeth + Ryan's Eclectic and European-Inspired Wedding at The Mason

We loved working with bride Elizabeth and planner Southern Affairs to design a stunning European-inspired and luxury-feeling wedding at The Mason in Dallas. With just three floral cornerstones — a mantle installation, the head table and the bouquets — the space was fully transformed for a ceremony and reception with a unique color palette of mauve, blush, butter yellow cream and small pops of black.

The ceremony was held indoors with a stunning fireplace framed with pillars as a backdrop. We used both the mantle and fireplace steps to hold lush floral arrangements, which were designed with an organic-style bent and to embody lots of movement. The venue’s architecture and finishings paired with these flowers created such an eclectic, upscale and polished look. A large gold mirror on the mantle and gorgeous gold chandelier added the perfect grandeur and elegance.

For the reception, the head table was the centerpiece moment, and we designed arrangements of lush, romantic textures like Ranunculus, Sweet Pea and Hellebore that sat in black compotes. Smaller arrangements in floral frog dishes also lined the table, along with taupe taper candles with a unique swirl shape and simple votive candles. With pale blue linens as an understated base and the touches of black in the vases and chairs, the head table made the perfect sophisticated statement.

The bride’s bouquet, another design focus, took on an organic-style design and was floral-focused in composition — with all the best of this stunning color palette. Elizabeth’s gown was appliqued with tiny flowers, creating such an elegant look alongside her bridesmaids’ black dresses.
