Livia + Ricky Modern and Textural Wedding at Knotting Hill Place

As much as we love charting the course and taking creative liberty with an event’s floral design concept, we love a bride with a vision! Livia shared her love for modern and elegant yet organic-style flowers and we worked with her to curate not only the perfect combination of textures, but her dream color palette of blush, neutrals and subtle pops of blue.

Livia and Ricky’s wedding was held at Knotting Hill Place, so we had a beautiful, spacious ceremony space to deck out with an altar installation and a bed of lush ground arrangements on either side of the aisle. For the altar, we designed floral clusters on a gold circular arch that let the flowers make the statement and added a modern touch. The floral-lined aisle added that organic garden feel and incorporated lots of texture and brightness.

For the reception, the guest tables were decorated with small compote arrangements with statement blooms and playful touches of baby’s breath. We also installed a garland embellished with blooms that draped across the front of the bar, and a small arch that mimicked the altar installation behind the bar.

Livia’s bridesmaids looked stunning in blush gowns covered in gold and silver sequins, and we designed bouquets full of texture to match. The bridal bouquet was extra-lush and made the perfect statement with Livia’s simple floral-applique dress. These bouquets featured a mix of rose varieties, Panda Anemone, Tweedia, Ranunculus and multiple greenery varieties to achieve that organic and textural look.
