Elle + Davis's Intimate Cocktail Reception at the Place at Tyler

Elle and Davis held an intimate celebration of their marriage at the Place at Tyler, and we were so thrilled to put the floral touches on this stunning refined yet relaxed reception. The venue’s architecture, furnishings and existing plants were a great basis for some simple floral design that elevated the space for this couple’s closest family and friends.

For this modern-bohemian reception, we designed several arrangements to decorate the tables, small bud vase arrangements and added greenery to the chandeliers to mimic the room’s hanging plants. The space was full of blush and soft orange tones with deep green as a statement color in the furniture and wainscoting. The flowers played off of this palette and added in the element of texture that gave everything a playful yet sophisticated feel.

Another key element of the bohemian-inspired design was Pampas grass that we designed into ground arrangements to accent the bar area. These looked gorgeous with the deep green bar — a simple addition with a big impact!

We went for contrast in the bridal party’s bouquets between the bridesmaids’ modern style with bleached Fern leaves and Lunaria, and Elle’s understated bouquet full of cream, peach and toffee-colored blooms. The oranges and neutrals that the bridal party wore couldn’t have been more on-point for the classy autumnal feel of the whole event.
