Love to Our Planners Event at D'Vine Grace Vineyards

This February, D’Vine Grace Vineyard’s Valentine-inspired planner appreciation lunch was a welcome occasion to celebrate the dedication, hard work and vision of so many of the planners who make our work that much better! We loved designing the flowers for this sweet event, all in a palette of pink and red.

Guests got to enjoy a coffee bar and espresso martinis, wine pairings with lunch and a photo area - the tables were a focal point of the room, with deep red decor like the pillar candles and place settings, all on top of pink and red linens. We designed low centerpieces meant to look lush and tie in all the red tones.

We also designed ground arrangements to accent the seating chart - a fun statement display that held seating assignments on heart-shaped cards. These arrangements were clustered on one side, and countered by a red balloon installation on the other. More red and pink pillar candles scattered in front added another dimension.

The espresso martini table was tiered, and we added a couple petite floral clusters on top and trailing down one side for another floral touch. Bud vases and more pillar candles made up the final touches throughout the space.

We were so happy to be part of this thank-you event for the professionals that orchestrate every detail of our clients’ big days - it was so special for them to get to enjoy an event like those they’re normally behind the curtain for!

Andy + Alex's End-of-Year Holiday-Inspired Wedding

Andy and Alex got married in December at La Bella Luna in Granbury, Texas, and opted to lean into the Christmas season for their decor, flowers and color palette. We worked with Gathered Events to curate the perfect look that brought the holiday magic while still having a timeless feel that this couple would love looking back on.

The ceremony was held outside with the venue’s archway structure as a backdrop, and we designed an asymmetrical floral installation on all sides, with a base of organic greenery and flowers in shades of red throughout. Ground arrangements also lined the aisle and made it all feel more lush.

Transitioning through cocktail hour, seating assignments were displayed on a variety of ornaments hung on a tree-muraled wall. For the reception we designed a large statement installation on the stage, made up of floral pillars growing up from the ground, to various heights. This was the focal point of the room and the backdrop for the cake and sweetheart tables. The newlyweds’ table was also framed with ground arrangements in front, and decorated with lots of pillar candles.

The guest tables were all rectangular and were decorated with a mix of compote arrangements, candle runners down the center, or eclectic collections of all-greenery mini compotes paired with red and white arrangements in glass vases. Ground arrangements sat at the ends of these tables for some more drama.

The bridal party’s bouquets were made up of mostly ivory blooms and a couple touches of bright red – the bridesmaids wore velvet blush-colored gowns for another pop.

Caitlin + Samuel's Romantic December Wedding at The Hillside Estate

The Hillside Estate is a venue for all seasons, and our couple Caitlin and Samuel got married in December with a wintry, moody style brought to life through mostly neutral blooms with pops of peach and deeper mauve and plum tones. We worked with the Gathered Events team to bring all the design details together with THE as a perfect backdrop for this couple’s ceremony and reception.

A ground arrangement display at the altar made a statement for the ceremony – a collection at various heights created a natural-feeling backdrop for the couple. We designed color-blocked arrangements that were placed down the aisle for more lush touches without being overpowering. Simple pillar candles also helped embellish the aisle.

Leading into the reception, the seating chart was another opportunity for flowers, and we designed ground arrangements with branches to frame the signs. After the ceremony, the ground arrangements were moved to the ballroom to create a dramatic floral meadow circling the cake table. This mimicked the design of the cake itself, which had a flowered ring at its base.

We designed and styled a lush, garden-style garland for the head table and made sure that it had plenty of height and movement – and accessorized with ribbed pillar candle holders and taupe taper candles in wooden stands. This reception had both banquet and round-table seating for guests, and we designed a tablescape for each – large urn arrangements and black bud vases (another moody touch) with candles.

The bridal party’s bouquets were done in an organic style with an emphasis on textures and movement. The color scheme of ivory, mauve, and purples made these romantic and unique!

Ava + Dillon's Romantic December Wedding at The Hillside Estate

Ava and Dillon’s winter wedding at The Hillside Estate was full of Roses and Hydrangeas in soft tones of white and blush, and Michelle at Stunning and Brilliant Events helped curate decor and details that made the ceremony and reception feel clean, crisp, romantic and delicate all at once!

Six tall arrangements made a statement in the ceremony space — the sweet spot for achieving a “wow” factor and feeling full without being too busy. Four sat at the alter and the other two opened the aisle at its start. These sat on clear vases and white pedestals for height and airiness.

These large arrangements were also the anchors of the reception, and were placed throughout the room, with two of them on either side of the sweetheart table. A low vase-less arrangement was also designed for the front of the newlyweds’ table. Compote arrangements, bud vases and pillar candles were styled on the other tables. The cake was an opportunity for a dramatic cascade of flowers and added in those soft, subtle pops of blush.

Ava carried an all-white, all-Rose bouquet while her bridesmaids’—although still most had more touches of pink that tied in with their gowns. Classic and manicured, these were the perfect understated, romantic touch for this bridal party!

Delaney + Jacob's Neutral-to-Vibrant Wedding at Knotting Hill Place

We loved Delaney and Jacob’s request to go from an all-white color scheme for the ceremony to a pink-and-orange palette for the reception that, while vibrant, was just as crisp- and fresh-looking! Knotting Hill Place was a great backdrop that let the flowers and decor shine while providing its own statement moments like the grand entryway and chandeliers in the ballroom.

An arch at the altar anchored the ceremony, full of Hydrangea, Delphinium and other highly textural flowers and leaves. White petals lining the aisle added to the bright, fresh style. These led all the way to two large arrangements on pedestals at the start of the aisle. The venue’s ceremony space has stunning floor-to-ceiling windows that make an all-white design look ethereal yet modern.

We put together a wall of bud vases to serve as the seating chart and double as a backdrop and statement moment during cocktail hour. This introduced pops of color to break up all the white blooms. For the reception itself, we designed a mix of tall and low arrangements — full of color as a switch-up from the ceremony. The head table had a unique tablescape of collections of arrangements, paired with simple vases, each filled with the same kind of flower — all Roses in some, all Tulips in others.

The bouquets kept with the classic, manicured style and matched the ceremony with all-white blooms - perfect for both of Delaney’s gowns - and the bridesmaids in black.
