Meredith + Abhinav's Rehearsal Dinner: Vibrant Texas Ranch Venue

Meredith and Abhinav planned a weekend-long destination wedding celebration in the bride’s hometown of Big Spring, Texas - all hosted on her family’s ranch. We worked with Shannon Rose Events to execute a vibrant-colored event design for their welcome party, rehearsal dinner and ceremony and reception - making sure to channel a mix of Indian and Texas culture and style.

To kick off the weekend, guests were hosted at a welcome party and rehearsal dinner in a cabin on the property that we transformed to incorporate the couple’s love of vibrant, fun interiors, inspired by some of their favorite restaurants in New York. The space was set up with a cocktail bar, high-top tables and soft seating. The bar was tied into the vibrant color scheme with a green velvet backdrop, that also helped from a seating area in front.

For the rehearsal dinner, we designed orange and pink ikebana-style arrangements to line the long tables, along with bright pink pillar candles. Green was tied into the tablescapes, too, through touches like the flatware. Lanterns hung from the ceiling and branches of fall foliage surrounding wooden pillars in the barn made all the difference in creating the perfect atmosphere for this space with ambient light and natural textures.

This space was used for the wedding reception the next day, and we loved seeing the flowers and design come to life with a slight variation on the vibrant oranges, reds and green we landed on for the rehearsal dinner!

Mindy + Brett's Simple, Bright Wedding at The Mason Dallas

Mindy and Brett held their fall-time wedding at The Mason in Dallas, with a team that included Jessica at Stairway Events, who we also loved working with! We all collaborated to bring a simple, classic design vision to life, complete with lots of bright white blooms and lush greenery, and even some pops of pink tones later on — all in such an elegant, intimate venue.

The ceremony was held in The Mason’s upstairs space, with a gorgeous all-white fireplace as a natural backdrop. We designed an arrangement that sat across the mantle along with a gold mirror and sconces. This had a classic feel with flowers like Hydrangea, Roses, Dahlia and Larkspur — all in white, which were made to pop with greenery tucked all throughout. This one statement piece alone made all the difference

When it came to the reception flowers, we added some color to the neutral ceremony design with pops of pink, lavender and peach, along with some of the same staple white blooms. This was such a fun direction for the celebration in The Mason’s reception hall.

Flowers for the wedding party included boutonnieres with white Spray Roses and Baby’s Breath that tied in with the bright, clean look of the ceremony, as well as the bouquets - Mindy’s an understated mix of romantic blooms but still had fun, organic movement, and the bridesmaids’ the same simple combination that the groom and groomsmen wore.

Bridal Bouquet ingredients: white Cloud Garden Roses, white Dahlia, Playa Blanca Roses, white Ranunculus, white Sweet Peas, white Lisianthus, white Fringe Tulips, white Majolica Spray Roses

Leigh Anna + Ben's Modern Black-and-White Wedding

Even something as simple as a black-and-white color scheme can be done in so many different styles and feel entirely different with the decor, accessories and flowers. Our couple Leigh Anna and Ben wanted a modern, sleek take on it, complete with unique textures and moodiness with pops of black. The Hillside Estate ended up the perfect backdrop that helped the event feel classy and refined.

For the ceremony, we designed arrangements that sat on black rectangular stands at the altar - these were full of bright white blooms in all different textures. More flowers extended out from the stands on the ground. At the start of the aisle, we placed all-white arrangements and styled them with candles.

Cocktail hour on the patio was the perfect opportunity for unique moody black touches - we used black foliage for an accent throughout the mantle installation. The seating chart had margaritas for the taking and small floral clusters on the signs and surrounding them on the ground were the perfect touch.

Rentals helped transform the reception space - sleek, modern tables were brought in and we designed both oversized arrangements to sit on tall stands and low compote arrangements to line them. Candles were another major decor element - pillars, taper candles and votives in both black and white made these tablescapes feel full and layered. Baby’s breath accented the compote arrangements for a contrast with some of the moodier touches in the room.

The bouquets were designed in a classic, elevated style with long-stem roses and orchids - a mix of textures that felt perfectly bridal and popped against the bridesmaids’ black gowns.

Lauren + Trevor's Classic Falltime Wedding at The Hillside Estate

We always love working with the Gathered Events team to transform The Hillside Estate spaces, and a clean, classic green and neutral palette always looks stunning with the venue’s French-inspired architecture and decor. This is exactly what Lauren and Trevor landed on for their fall wedding.

We decked the venue out with greenery starting at the entry space — a classic compote arrangement on the front table for a simple pop, greenery accepting the banisters and ground pieces framing the welcome sign. Just a few touches like these can add so much to that first impression!

For the ceremony, we designed a large square archway, full with lots of greenery and bright ivory and white blooms. The scale and shape were perfect in front of the space’s windows. Down the aisle, sage green pillar candles added an understated accent and really let the arch at the altar make its statement.

Just before the reception, guests spent cocktail hour out on the patio, where we added a lush floral-and-greenery installation to the fireplace mantle. Inside for the reception, we designed large urn arrangements for the guest tables, which were surrounded by a mix of candles and white bud vases for a balance of lush drama and more delicate accents.

The head table had a floral garland trailing down its center, and was framed by the same arch from the ceremony — such a great focal point for the reception that played up the lush feel even more.

Lauren’s bouquet was designed in an organic style with all-white flowers, including dripping Orchids and touches of greenery. Her bridesmaids’ bouquets featured more white blooms like Ball Dahlias, Roses and Frill Tulips.

Bridal Bouquet Ingredients: white Orchids, white Cloud Garden Roses, white Ball Dahlias, Snowy Jewel Roses, Playa Blanca Roses, white Lisianthus, white Ranunculus, white Tweedia, white Sweet Pea, white Frill Tulips, Green Hellebore, Huckleberry

Lindsey + Mauricio's Lush Early-Summer Wedding at Knotting Hill Place

Lindsey and Mauricio planned an early summer wedding at Knotting Hill Place with the help of Lauryn E Weddings, who we loved collaborating with. White and shades of green guided the palette and style of their ceremony and reception. We designed fresh, lush floral arrangements to complement the light, bright and classic-feeling decor.

Lush and airy flowers made sense for the ceremony space since the venue has large windows and so much natural light. Guests sat in clear acrylic chairs that continued the subtle and simple style. We designed a large floral spray for a wooden arch that sat at the altar on a white pedestal that was also embellished with an arrangement, so the two of them almost met in the middle. These couple simple floral touches left this space feeling so full and lush.

For the reception, we designed a greenery garland to line the head table and then spill onto the ground on either end. The bridesmaids’ bouquets were repurposed here too for an extra pop. A mix of candles - pillar and white taper candles in antique brass holders added some texture and personality. The guest tables held a mix of compote arrangements and more candles.

The cake table was another focal point - with the venue’s staircase as a backdrop, which we lined with lush greenery. For the table itself, we designed ground floral arrangements to surround the perimeter.

Lindsey’s bridal party wore mismatched green shades and fabrics, which looked stunning with her full lace-and-floral-applique gown. The bouquets were mostly white with subtle touches of greenery, but really popped against the green dresses.
