Kendra + Conner's Whimsical Fantasy-World-Inspired Wedding

We had the joy of bringing two book (specifically fantasy) lovers’ dream whimsical wedding to life for Kendra and Conner to tie the knot. Their ceremony and reception embodied a Harry Potter-Lord of The Rings feel with a palette of blues, greens and warm tones and that perfect mix of whimsy and organic-style floral elements and the subtly gothic elements of the venue.

Kendra and Conner’s ceremony was an explosion of flowers with a fully lined aisle of lush ground arrangements and a custom gothic-style arch with four legs at the altar. Everything was made to look somewhat overgrown and we didn’t hold back on the greenery one bit — it created such great contrast with the brighter orange and yellow blooms in this installation.

The reception — in Hotel Drover’s stunning indoor space — was completely transformed by not only forest-inspired table arrangements and decor, but tree-inspired centerpieces dripping with white blooms and hanging votives. These plotted throughout the space on several guest tables really contributed to that immersive whimsical atmosphere.

The head table had its own statement — a lush garland embellished with lots of candlelight. All of the tables featured rich blue and green tones in the linens and place settings, which added so much depth along with the greenery and wooden/stone touches that the venue provided.

Kendra’s bridesmaids fittingly wore deep emerald green and carried contrasting bright and organic-style bouquets. The bridal bouquet similarly featured pops of yellow and orange, and drew on Kendra’s ivory dress with a few white statement blooms.

Bridal Bouquet Ingredients: golden Mustard Roses, Snowy Jewel Roses, Quicksand Roses, yellow Butterfly Ranunculus, white Anemone, white Lilac, blush Sweet Pea, Forsythia, Nerine, green Hellebore

Nicole + DJ's Luxe Boho Wedding at Knotting Hill Place

Nicole and DJ’s wedding holds a special place in our hearts — it meant watching our former Wedfully Yours team member marry her college sweetheart and we were over the moon to be involved! When Nicole’s role with our team came to a close, we were so thrilled to continue working with her as vendor partners from her coordinator role at one of our favorite venues, Knotting Hill Place. We designed the flowers for and coordinated this extra-special day — at none other than KHP. This sweet couple’s ceremony and reception were a vision of elegant and luxe yet bohemian floral statements and details, all in a gorgeous neutral color palette.

The ceremony was anchored by a split asymmetrical arch at the altar made from taupe Pampas grass and bright white flowers and baby’s breath. Even with such a neutral color scheme, all the texture that this install added was so visually interesting and looked especially stunning in the natural light!

The reception had a color palette to match and a recurrence of the Pampas motif — in the form of a statement installation hanging from the ceiling. The tables beneath were lined with white compote arrangements and a mix of taper candles that tied in the taupe linens. Marquee letters by Alpha Lit Letters that spelled out the newlyweds’ last name was such a fun touch and, along with the hanging Pampas Grass halo, completely transformed the dance floor!

Nicole’s bridal party wore matching taupe silky gowns and carried bundles of dried Lunaria as an elegant subtle touch and in contrast with the bride’s all-white look, which featured Peonies and cascading Orchids. We designed boutonnieres of bleached stems for the groomsmen — small touches like these really brought the luxe-boho style home!

Bridal Bouquet Ingredients: white Peonies, white Orchids, Playa Blanca Roses, white Majolica Spray Roses, white Ranunculus, bleached Ruscus, bleached Ferns, bleached Bunny Tails, Lunaira

Pampering Planners Brunch at The Hillside Estate by Gathered Events

We were so thrilled to design and provide flowers for the Pampering Planners event — a brunch and get-together for DFW-area planners to help them recharge, connect and enjoy a relaxing morning — put on by The Hillside Estate and Gathered Events. It was so fun to flip the script and see our fellow coordinators enjoy a thoughtfully put together event!

Gathered Events dreamt up a gorgeous Spring-inspired design concept that was perfect for the venue — velvet green tablecloths, wooden chairs and chargers, and copper flatware made for whimsical yet sophisticated tablescapes.

We designed organic-style arrangements with lots of ivory blooms and touches of lilac, styled with small bud vases of baby’s breath and lots of candles. The ivory flowers and greenery tied in with the green linens and together, these made such an elegant colorful statement.

Beyond the brunch bites and cocktails, this event was complete with a manicure station and a chance for everyone to restock their day-of “emergency kits” with fashion tape, sewing supplies, lint rollers, etc. — such a clever touch for this group!

Joey + Claire's Modern Wedding at Knotting Hill Place

Weddings that take on a classy black-and-white color scheme can be made as refined and simple or as dramatic and moody as the couple prefers. Joey and Claire’s wedding at Knotting Hill Place (the perfect backdrop for black and white blooms and decor) found that balance between done-up drama and clean, modern elements. We had the joy of coordinating their day from the kick-off in the bridal suite to the send-off at the end of the night — working with these two was so wonderful!

For the indoor ceremony, we designed two large, lush altar arrangements — voluminous with white blooms and atop glass stands. These made for a great statement while still being simple and effortless. The reception was filled with similar arrangements on tall black stands, clusters of flowers and candles decorating the guest tables. The staircase got decked out with vines of greenery to tie in with the touches of greenery throughout the tablescapes.

For couples like Joey and Claire who want things to run smoothly on their big day but don’t want to have to chase anyone down or worry about all the details falling into place (completely understandably so!), our team’s day-of coordination can be the perfect solution. We’re our couple’s biggest advocate when it comes to being fully present in living out the day they’ve thought about, planned and waited for for so long!

Part of helping that plan run smoothly is helping rally and corral all of your guests for a few staple moments, including the cake cutting and your grand exit as newlyweds! These moments round out the event and provide some of the ultimate photo opportunities. Joey and Claire opted for a streamer exit and the photos turned out so stunning!

Of course, the bridal bouquet is a quintessential element that ends up in the majority of your wedding photos and completes your bridal ensemble. For Claire, we designed a classic-yet-playful all-white bouquet with Roses, Ranunculus, Tweedia and sparing greenery.

Bridal Bouquet Ingredients: White Cloud Garden Roses, Playa Blanca Roses, Vendela Roses, White Majolica Spray Roses, White Scabiosa, White Ranunculus, White Tweedia, White Larkspur, Nagi Greenery, Huckleberry Greenery

Kendall + Tanner's Vibrant Autumn-Inspired Wedding

A venue with high ceilings, white walls and clean lines like Chandelier Farms gives us near-endless possibilities — Kendall and Tanner’s wedding was a Fall take on vibrant red tones that was so gorgeous in this space! In collaboration with Saunter Weddings, we brought in lots of subtle Autumnal touches that made for an upscale yet warm and welcoming reception that followed an open-air ceremony on the venue’s beautiful grounds!

We designed several large arrangements for the ceremony that created a lush bed of blooms surrounding the altar. These featured bright red leaves and softer shades like ivory and blush, and lots of texture in flowers and leaves.

The reception was held in the venue’s vault-ceilinged barn with chandeliers hanging from every corner, which perfectly complemented the six large arrangements among the guest tables that anchored the space. These sat on white stands instead of on the tables themselves, which helped them make even more of a statement. The stone urns ended up looking great with the wooden doors and chairs — overall, the event definitely had a very organic, bordering-on-rustic feel.

Another staple for the reception was an installation of red Falltime foliage that draped over the mantle of the venue’s faux-fireplace, which served as the backdrop for the cake, decorated with blooms in matching bright Autumn tones.

Kendall’s bridal party wore pink-berry-colored dresses in all different cuts, and we designed big-bloom-filled bouquets with shades of pink, taupe and ivory to match. These featured a few statement flowers like roses, and were rounded out with Limonium and other seasonal touches. Kendall carried a bouquet that matched her bridesmaids’ but had some extra volume. We see this kind of neutrals-and-mauve color palette as timeless and perfect year-round, but especially fitting for Fall!

Bridal Bouquet Ingredients: Wabara Myabi Roses, Sahara Sensation Spray Roses, Bistro Rose, Quicksand Roses, Bohemian Mocha Lisianthus, Dark Pink Astilbe, Pink Limonium, Mauve Hellebore, Huckleberry
