Julie + Matt’s Biergarten-Inspired Wedding

As our first wedding of 2021, Julie and Matt’s ceremony and reception overflowed with endless lush blooms and greenery, and served as the perfect start to a whole new year full of potential! This couple hosted their wedding at The Century Hall in Fort Worth, which was the perfect backdrop for the vivid color palette of jewel berry and burgundy tones that we curated for the floral design.

We designed a statement ceiling installation for the ceremony space that hung above the aisle. Dripping with greenery and blooms like Delphinium, Hops and Amaranthus, this installation was a unique and eye-catching combination of textures! Up at the altar, we utilized more textural interest in ground arrangements to accessorize the site of the “I do’s!”

For the reception, the natural-yet-overstated garden theme continued. We designed a garland for the head table and decorated further with cranberry-colored votive candles. Another statement in the ceremony space was a series of greenery-wrapped columns throughout the room that had red accents that incorporated the color palette. For the guest tables, we designed smaller compote arrangements featuring the same large statement blooms that made an appearance in the other floral elements. This reception mimicked a lush garden and included all of the natural floral beauty!

The bride’s bouquet featured the same vibrance as the ceremony and reception flowers, and included sweet touches of light blue and bright pink, as well as orchids - Julie’s favorite flower! This wedding was full of unique colors and fun details, from the custom Trellis-style seating chart we designed with seating assignments via bottle openers to a special focus on beer as a part of the guest experience. What a great way to kick off 2021!

Devyn + Marc's Dreamy Destination Wedding Weekend

This week we’re sharing one of the biggest wedding floral productions we’ve ever taken on! We’re thrilled to share photos and details from Devyn and Marc’s fall wedding at Rest Yourself Ranch in Mineral Wells, TX. This couple hosted a weekend-long destination wedding celebration for friends and family, so we had multiple events to design with the help of Shannon of Shannon Rose Events, from the rehearsal dinner to a recovery brunch to end the weekend on Sunday morning. On top of that, the whole production was coordinated in six short weeks! It’s weddings like these that allow us to continue growing in the ways that we serve our couples!

For the ceremony, we designed lush ground arrangements that lined the entire aisle (70 feet worth!) and created an overgrown garden effect in the most gorgeous color palette of oranges, browns, and blush. This outdoor ceremony was in the middle of a landscape of whimsical trees and beautiful views. We tied in similar floral design on the sprawling roots of a tree that acted as a dramatic accent on the natural elements in the area.

After the ceremony, guests were welcomed to the reception in a clear tent that protected everyone from the elements a bit while still providing a gorgeous overhead view of the trees and night sky. Shannon served not only as an event designer, but a full spatial architect in this case, and dreamt up such a stunning setup for the guests of this wild and natural landscape.

In terms of the reception’s floral elements, we had an amazing time crafting unique pieces for this one-of-a-kind celebration. We built an overgrown-looking floral archway at the entrance that featured the full spectrum of our unique fall-neutral color palette, in the form of blush, orange, brown, and ivory shades. Another installation that contributed to the immersive nature of the reception space hung over the dance floor, full of modern, fall-inspired floral textures.

This wedding had no shortage of flowers. We also built four large “tree” arrangements of foraged greenery and branches to anchor the room and add height and dynamism. These were completely unique from anything our team had done before, and such a fun element for the fall feel alongside all of the flowers! We also accessorized the stage setup with two large urn arrangements. The guest tables made up an interesting contrast to the larger elements, like the trees, with a collection of low compote arrangements and decorations that had, physically, a lower profile, but still added dimensions of elegance and interest.

The personal flowers for this bridal party were full of the richer fall tones in the palette, and couldn’t have looked more stunning with Devyn’s ivory gown and her bridesmaids’ black dresses. We adored this couple and were so excited to help welcome them and their guests to this destination wedding!

Kendra + Hawk's Rustic Fall Wedding

We love when the hot Texas weather starts to (hopefully) let up in the fall to lend itself to some outdoor wedding festivities, and we were excited that Kendra and Hawk wanted to incorporate some gorgeous Autumnal shades into their ceremony and reception. We coordinated and designed the flowers for their wedding, and got to work with all of the navy and burgundy blooms and decorations. This event was at one of our most trusted venues, Rustic Grace Estate, and it was the perfect backdrop for these families to become one!

Their ceremony was held in the venue’s beautiful chapel, and we designed a simple floral arrangement to decorate a wooden cross that stood up at the altar. This arrangement was based around romantic statement blooms and was full of textures. The aisle was also decorated with simple greenery and lanterns to create an intimate atmosphere and compliment all of the dark wood in the space.

Rustic Grace Estate’s silo building is such a great space for eating and dancing, with the perfect elements for rustic-style weddings like Kendra and Hawk’s. We decorated the guest tables with combinations of lanterns, greenery, and burgundy flowers. We also installed an overhead installation full of greenery using the space’s built-in ceiling beams. Another great detail in the reception space was a simple accent of greenery on the staircase.

Kendra’s bridal bouquet had a simple color palette of ivory and burgundy, but was so stunning! Burgundy Dahlias and Scabiosa anchored this design and it was completed by bright ivory roses and Sweet Pea flowers. The bridesmaids’ bouquets mimicked this same design and tied in the color of their gowns. This bridal party was stunning!

We adored working with Kendra and Hawk, and we’re looking forward to the gorgeous Autumn weddings to come!

Katie + Drew's Sweet Southern Outdoor Wedding

This week’s blog is a recap on a dreamy fall wedding that had the sweetest southern style and classic details. Our team coordinated Katie and Drew’s intimate ceremony and reception, which were designed by Ashley Mason of Saunter Events, and took place at a gorgeous private estate outdoors. We were so thrilled to help curate the floral vision for this wedding and send this couple down the aisle!

For the ceremony, we designed ground arrangements that sat along the aisle and looked so natural against the lush outdoor landscape while still adding a bit of drama to the setup. At the altar, we designed two large baby’s breath arrangements that sat on stone urns to frame this lovely couple against the whimsical tree-filled space that the guest seating faced.

This reception was held in a white tent with open-air sides on the same ground as the ceremony. This was such a gorgeous, simple and refined setup that made for an absolutely perfect intimate space. The tables were dressed with both blue and white patterned linens and blue runners, and we decorated them further with several stand-alone blooms and a smattering of delicate votive and pillar candles. Other special touches of the table design were gold flatware and glasses, as well as navy blue place cards and the guests’ favors.

Some other fun elements of this reception were the bar, which had a unique cutout that we placed floral arrangements in, and the cake, courtesy of Cakes by Shannon Star, which was the perfect culmination of the color palette and style. We adorned the cake table with a few small eclectic arrangements and candles.

The bridesmaids’ bouquets of baby’s breath perfectly complemented the bride’s bouquet of statement blooms like panda anemone and peonies. This bridal party was the epitome of elegance in their neutral gowns!

Bridal Bouquet Ingredients: white Peonies, white Cloud Garden Roses, Panda Anemones, Pieres, Snowberry, Hellebore, Viburnum berries, Queen Anne’s Lace, Sweet Pea, Lisianthus, Huckleberry Greenery

Katie + Alan's Rose-Filled Ceremony

This week, we’re sharing some details on a gorgeous September wedding full of statement blooms in the prettiest shades of pink and purple! Katie and Alan now share the last name “Rose,” so it was only appropriate to deck out their ceremony and reception with everything from garden to spray varieties! We had such fun putting this floral wonderland together along with Shannon Rose Events.

For the ceremony at Firefly Gardens’ outdoor space, we designed two large urn arrangements at the aisle entrance. At the top of the aisle, we created a statement arch covered in rose clusters and greenery that came across as a very dramatic and intentional rosebush. This ceremony setup was overstated yet classy, and the most romantic garden-like setting!

The venue’s indoor reception space had windows for days and the most amazing natural lighting. On some guest tables, we designed tall organic-style arrangements with plentiful greenery and all possible rose varieties. Candles were used to accessorize these tables since the floral action was overhead. For the rest of the guest tables, we put together smaller centerpieces that added the perfect romantic touch to the delicate decor elements.

For the head table, we designed a lush garden-like garland of roses and other floral textures, with lots of stunning purple shades throughout. This piece sat on gorgeous linen with a subtle floral print and emerald green accents. This head table was so sweet and airy but packed a punch with the volume and the bold color palette.

The bouquets for this wedding were created from a vision of simplistic, neutral bouquets with pops of color. Katie, our bride, looked absolutely stunning holding her statement bouquet!
